Demand the Senate Eliminate the Filibuster to Save Our Democracy
While Democrats control the House, Senate, and the White House, their bold, progressive agenda is being hamstrung by the Senate filibuster, which requires at least 60 votes to advance legislation. Historically used to uphold Jim Crow legislation, the filibuster is now being used by Republicans to stop widely-popular bills in their tracks, including urgent democracy reform and climate change legislation.
We must demand that our Senators not let the Jim Crow filibuster block the legislation that our democracy desperately needs.
